Description

Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in a critical care setting located in the region. This role involves providing family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents across multiple hospital locations, with a willingness to float between facilities as needed. The position requires flexibility to work straight night shifts of 12 hours with a weekly minimum of 36 hours.

Job Details:

Schedule: Straight night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Graduate of accredited school of nursing; Minnesota RN license or Minnesota temporary permit for RN; BLS certification; PALS certification; 2 years of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience including care for pre-operative and immediate post-operative surgical patients, trauma patients, or 2 years of pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) nursing experience capable of handling pre-operative, immediate post-operative cardiac surgical patients, and pre- and post-cardiac procedural patients.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The position involves coordinating and providing family-centered nursing care to pediatric patients, utilizing the nursing process. The role includes accountability for professional practice, including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed collaboratively with the healthcare team.
