Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) technologist position located in Virginia. This role involves supporting open-heart cardiovascular operating room procedures, with a focus on surgical certification in open-heart CVOR. The position requires prior travel experience for all Centra positions and involves a day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with orientation dates on 10/5, 10/19, and 11/2. All assignments are expected to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 01/16/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications including CST and VA license in the state of Virginia; active credentials in packet; at least 2 years of experience working in open-heart CVOR setting; valid CPR/BLS certification; COVID-19 and flu vaccination or declination; ability to obtain VA license if not currently licensed (approximately 4-6 weeks).
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience in similar settings.
• Additional Information: The call requirement will be no more than three times per weekday and no more than three weekends over a six-week schedule. Weekend shifts include a call shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and a working shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday. All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved prior to acceptance. No local travelers under 60 miles will be considered. The client can cancel up to three shifts per assignment due to census. Declinations for COVID-19 and flu vaccines are accepted.
