Description

Job Summary
Dialysis Nurse Position in a hospital-based dialysis unit. This role involves overseeing peritoneal dialysis treatments for adult patients in inpatient and outpatient settings. Treatments may be provided at the patient's bedside or in their home. The nurse delivers patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process to promote, maintain, and restore health, ensuring safe practices and positive outcomes. Clear communication and collaboration are essential components of this position.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call responsibilities. Minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Current driver's license or state ID, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with peritoneal dialysis or nephrology is a plus.
Additional Information: The unit operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:30. Candidates must complete the UHS Skills Checklist, submit a professional UHS submission packet, and fill out the UHS Prior Employment Form to be considered.
