Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a hospital setting. This assignment involves caring for adult patients with various diagnoses, including post-surgical recovery, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, weakness, and cancer. The role requires nights shifts, with a focus on team collaboration and providing quality patient care in a diverse environment.

Job Details:

• Location: 7 west/7 east/5 east Medical Surgical with telemetry units, with a capacity of 60 beds.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS Certification; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting; valid driver's license; compliance with fingernail policy; pass/fail exam during orientation with a 90% requirement; must not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization, including any associated entities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Positive attitude, team player, patient-focused, and culturally sensitive to diverse populations including African American and Korean-speaking patients.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have excellent teamwork skills, a positive mindset, and a caring attitude. EMR used is Epic, with IV pumps via Alaris. Float may be required to 6E, acute rehab unit, or geriatric psych unit. Shift starts are from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM every other weekend.
