Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse (RN) Richmond, VA. This role involves providing patient-centered care on a dedicated Oncology unit specializing in chemotherapy treatments and supportive care. Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license; experience in medical-surgical nursing or oncology preferred; no minimum experience required; location at the healthcare provider's facility; outstanding patient care skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemotherapy procedures preferred; certification in oncology nursing (e.g., OCN) a plus
• Additional Information: The unit utilizes Meditech documentation systems, and staff communication is facilitated via iMobile phones. The unit emphasizes patient safety with hourly safety rounds, bedside shift reports, and the use of whiteboards. The team values tenure, experience, and a collaborative environment to enhance patient outcomes. The unit maintains a dedicated focus on patient experience improvements and incorporates advanced equipment and supportive technology to foster professional growth and patient satisfaction.
