Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in a peri-operative setting, providing essential support to surgical teams under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for assisting during operative procedures, ensuring the sterile environment, and preparing the operating room to facilitate patient safety and successful surgical outcomes. This position requires the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT), current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, minimum of two years of current Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) experience, previous travel experience preferred, and active National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification uploaded within profile. Candidate must include perm address in profile, and all requested time off must be noted and verified at upload.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience.
• Additional Information:
  • No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted; requests should be made during the submission process.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently and "hit the ground running."
  • Client will not consider candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
  • EMR system used is McKesson.
  • Dress code is business casual or matching scrubs.
  • Holiday, overtime, and callback multipliers are 1.25.
  • Call rotation and holidays are required if needed.
