Medical Surgical Floor Nurse - Nights - Salem, VA. This position involves providing high-quality patient care on a 36-bed medical surgical unit in a busy hospital setting. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), no minimum years of experience required, location in or near Salem, VA.
• Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with post-operative patient care, competence in dressing changes, wound care, drain management, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional Information: The unit primarily cares for post-operative patients, with a focus on maintaining drains, wound care, and ensuring patient comfort. Candidates should be team players with a positive attitude and strong advocacy for patients, able to work in a fast-paced environment. The dress code is navy blue or white scrubs, with no hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts allowed.
