Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility located in the area. The role involves providing direct nursing care to residents, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Job Details

• Shift Timing: Evenings (Shift Hours: 8 hours)
• Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid and active RN license; Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university; BLS / CPR and AED Program Certification; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (or equivalent from an approved RN program)
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures; leadership or supervisory experience; experience in long-term care settings; ability to work harmoniously with staff, residents, and families; strong decision-making skills
• Additional Information: Responsible for administering medications, reviewing discharge plans, documenting resident care, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements. The role includes participation in facility surveys, quality assurance programs, and resident admission/discharge procedures. Candidate must be willing to perform all relevant nursing duties and collaborate effectively within the team.
