Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Sterling, VA. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting, supporting a team performing a variety of complex procedures, including total joints, spine, urology, and robotic surgeries. The position requires collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Location: Sterling, VA
• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• End Date: 12/28/2026
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have completed certifications in Certified Surgical Tech, with experience scrubbing in orthopedic, spine, general, urology, and robotic cases. Candidates should be familiar with OR equipment, Meditech Electronic Medical Record system, and have the ability to work as a team player with a friendly demeanor.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DaVinci robotic systems, urology, general, and gynecological surgeries is preferred.
• Additional Information: The OR unit has 7 operating rooms with a staff of 8. It operates Monday through Friday with weekend call requirements, including 3 weekend call days (24 hours) per six-week period and 3 night shifts from 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM per week. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, professional, and uphold unit policies and standards of behavior. The dress code includes green scrubs, with specific conduct and professionalism expected.
