Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a busy surgical unit located in Richmond, VA. This role involves providing specialized nursing care in a multi-specialty surgical environment, supporting a Level II trauma unit with a variety of procedures including General, GYN, Vascular, ENT, Plastics, Neuro, Orthopedics, Cardiac, and Kidney Transplant surgeries. The position requires flexibility, call responsibilities, and teamwork to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/12/2026 to 01/11/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, suitable to work in a hospital setting, experience with OR procedures, Davinci Surgical system trained, ability to function in Circulator, Scrub, and Assistant roles, flexible with call and holiday shifts, positive attitude, dependable, residing within 30 minutes of the hospital
• Preferred Qualifications: Flexibility in role assignment, positive attitude, adaptable dress code (navy scrubs)
• Additional Information: The unit is a dynamic surgical service with a specialized team. The OR documents in Meditech for the Operating Room module. The team values a positive attitude, flexibility, and a cohesive work environment. Candidates should be team-oriented and committed to providing excellent patient care.
