Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) nurses are needed at a healthcare facility for a full-time assignment. The position involves working in a Level 1 trauma hospital with a diverse patient population, including complex cases such as transplant, trauma, neuro, and various surgeries. The assignment is scheduled to start on 11/16/2026 and will last through 05/15/2027, requiring candidates to work night shifts.

Job Details:

• Shift: CST (Central Standard Time) 12-hour nights - 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM; includes potential Saturday and Sunday shifts.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with the possibility of float between OR locations but not assigned to multiple sites routinely.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications must include NBSTA. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of operating room experience; experience in most services except cardiac is preferred. Prior travel experience is required.

• Experience: 0+ years minimum, but a minimum of 2 years OR experience is preferred.
• Travel Requirement: Yes, travel experience is mandatory.
• Additional Information: Orientation dates are scheduled for 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and 11/16, with no orientation on 10/19. Limited time off is permitted, no more than 5-7 days. No excessive time off can be approved. Travelers should be prepared to work during major holidays, with two out of three holidays expected. COVID-19 vaccination series or valid exemption is required by the start date. The role offers the opportunity to work in various case types, including neuro, trauma, general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary.
