Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse in a hospital setting. This position involves providing nursing care to adult surgical and pediatric patients, utilizing the nursing process, administering medications, and developing individualized patient care plans. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and participation in performance improvement activities.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 01/04/2027.
- Required Qualifications: Current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification, Wisconsin (WI) Nursing License, CPR/BLS certification, and education verification. Experience in adult surgical units preferred.
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications related to surgical or pediatric nursing are advantageous.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units.
- Additional Information: Candidates must have the ability to work every other weekend and holiday. This position primarily serves an adult surgical unit with some pediatric patient beds.
