Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Registered Nurse (RN) in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with oncology conditions, following evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, educates patients and their families, and monitors patient outcomes to promote optimal recovery and comfort.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred; CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license; Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; Ability to communicate effectively in English; 0 years of experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an oncology or medical-surgical unit preferred; additional certifications related to oncology nursing.
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical assessment, collaborative treatment planning, patient education, infection control practices, and utilization of healthcare technology for documentation and communication.
