Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Specialist, located at a critical access hospital within a Level 4 trauma center, is responsible for providing emergency care in a busy setting. The role involves managing a diverse patient population and delivering timely, quality medical interventions to stabilize and treat acute conditions.

Job Details

• Certifications: Valid emergency nursing certification, Current state licensure required
• Education: Minimum of 1 year of recent ER experience, or relevant emergency nursing training
• Location Requirements: Candidates must have at least one year of ER experience
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of ER experience required
• Schedule: Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Position Description: Providing emergency medical care at a 10-bed ER within a Level 4 trauma center and a 25-bed critical access hospital. Responsibilities include patient assessment, emergency intervention, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Additional Information: Flu vaccine is required with no exceptions. A 100 MILE RADIUS RULE applies; candidates with a permanent address within 100 miles of the hospital will not be considered. No more than three days of time off can be requested during the 13-week contract. The facility may cancel up to three shifts per 13-week assignment, and guaranteed hours will not apply.
