Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. This position involves providing specialized care in a low-volume maternity unit, with responsibilities that include managing patient care during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The role may also require floating to a low acuity medical-surgical unit during periods of low census.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS (preferred).
• Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience in a relevant setting, Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring AWHONN (preferred).
• Additional Details: The department includes 2 Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, 1 Triage room, 3 Postpartum/Gynecological rooms, and a Newborn Nursery.
• Support on the Unit: Department Leadership, Anesthesia Services available 24/7.
• Charting System: Cerner.
• Float: Float rotation may be required during periods of low census.
• Orientation: Facility and unit orientation discussed during the interview.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available for immediate start and possess the required certifications to be considered.
