Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the emergency department. The nurse is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based care, collaborating with the multidisciplinary team, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction throughout their stay.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) and NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certifications are required. Experience in the emergency care setting for a minimum of 0 years is acceptable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred. Professional certification related to emergency nursing is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves assessing patients in the ER, formulating care plans, providing direct patient care, and documenting all activities in the patient's record. The RN will participate in evidence-based practices, contribute to quality improvement activities, and may supervise staff or work flow as needed. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to respond quickly to patient needs, and compliance with all regulatory standards.
