Job Summary:
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse located in Evanston, Illinois. This role involves working designated night shifts in a 12-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5, caring for patients with diagnoses such as Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Surgical Overflow, and Telemetry. The position is slated for an initial 12-week contract starting on 10/04/2026, with scheduled nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and as-needed holiday coverage.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license, CPR, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Epic electronic health record experience, upon submission, a passed EKG test with 80% or higher is required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center, new graduates are not accepted
• Float: Possibly float to Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park
• Additional Information: This facility has 29 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5. Typical patient length of stay is 3-4 days. Common diagnoses include Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Surgical Overflow, and Telemetry cases. The assignment is scheduled for 12 weeks, with a start date of 10/04/2026 and an end date of 12/27/2026.
