Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) registered nurse (RN) position is available in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role involves providing emergency care across all age groups, managing a diverse patient population with complex diagnoses, and functioning efficiently within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. The assignment is ideal for candidates with strong clinical skills and adaptability to an urgent care setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights; 3x12-hour shifts working from 19:00 to 07:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license in MD or a Compact State; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI certifications; 2 years of experience in patient care involving adult and pediatric emergency scenarios; experience with charting systems preferred (Epic); experience managing a patient ratio of 1:4 in a busy emergency setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in community hospital settings, trauma level I or II, and proficiency with ultrasound, transvenous pacemakers, and peak flow management.
• Additional Information: The facility handles approximately 130 patient visits daily across a 47-bed unit with a wide-ranging patient demographic, from neonates to geriatrics. The position requires floating within scope, inclusive of complex emergency procedures and patient management of various critical diagnoses. No pre-scheduled on-call requirements; every other weekend and major holidays as scheduled are expected.
