Job Summary
Hospital in the healthcare provider sector is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a rotating day and night schedule. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing advanced skills and certifications.

Job Details

• Position: ICU RN - Intensive Care Unit
• Location: Healthcare provider facility (location unspecified)
• Shift: 3x12 rotating days and nights (07:00-19:30 / 19:00-07:30) with minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications & Education Requirements: Active RN license for MD or Compact State, BLS, ACLS, CPI, NIHSS, with at least 2 years of ICU experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience in patient ratio management and charting system experience preferred
• Schedule: Days and nights rotation, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours weekly, starting 10/05/2026 through 01/04/2027
• Patient Population: Adolescents (rare, ages 15-17), Adults, Geriatrics
• Patient Diagnosis and Care: MICU, SICU Surgical Abdominal, Neuro cervical spines, post-ops, Cardiac Medical, MI, Chest Pain, Pneumonia, vents, Sepsis, ARDS, Cardiogenic Shock, OD, Post cath; all pressors and sedations drugs; vents, CRRT, IABP, pronation therapies (experience preferred)
• Responsibilities: Managing pressors and sedation drugs, ventilator management, performing special procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal, arterial line management, and ICU-specific interventions
• Additional Requirements: Experience with vent management, ECMO, CRRT, IABP, pronation therapy, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Must be comfortable floating within scope without restrictions
• Submittal: No interview required; submit compliance documents within 5 days prior to start
