Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Wilson, North Carolina. The role involves providing patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a focus on treating a diverse patient population, including responsibilities for respiratory distress, overdose, CHF, dialysis, and hypertension management. The position offers an evening shift schedule and requires a minimum of two years of Emergency Room experience.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associates of Nursing degree, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). A minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic health records using Meditech, familiarity with common diagnoses such as respiratory distress, overdose, congestive heart failure (CHF), dialysis, and hypertension.
• Additional Information: The unit has 26 beds with patient ratios typically around 1:4-5, depending on acuity. Equipment includes GE monitors and standard emergency department tools. The candidate must demonstrate a team-oriented mindset with an engaged, positive attitude. Scrubs are acceptable attire in any color.
