Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery unit. The Nurse utilizes the nursing process to monitor and support maternal and neonatal health, ensuring safety and high-quality care during childbirth and postpartum periods.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree therefrom; Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, NRP & proof of instruction/passage of Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring; Zero (0) - six (6) months of related experience; Epic experience (Muskogee); Working knowledge of disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways; Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner; Ability to be detail oriented as required in the examination of clinical and numerical data.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience (South, Yale); Cesarean Section experience; Labor and Delivery experience; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); LDRP experience; TeamBirth experience.
• Additional Information: The position involves direct work with patients undergoing labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Accurate documentation, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and adherence to hospital policies are essential. The assignment duration is from 10/19/2026 to 01/16/2027.
