Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) registered nurse position in a hospital setting in Corpus Christi, Texas. This role involves providing direct patient care on a 22-bed unit specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry services. The position requires a patient-centered approach, teamwork, and the ability to handle a variety of clinical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: RN license, acute medical-surgical experience of at least 1 year within the last year, ability to care for 4-6 patients simultaneously
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with over 2 years experience working with neuro patients, CVA, TIA, AMS, and a background in neuro/neuro-surgery or orthopedics are preferred. Med/Surg/Telemetry background is acceptable.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit is equipped with standard medical equipment, including EMR Meditech. Typical procedures include IV insertions, urinary catheter maintenance, central line care, medication administration, NGT insertion/maintenance, continuous bladder irrigation, and communication with the care team. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused personality.
