Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in an urban emergency department. This role involves providing high-quality, immediate patient care in a fast-paced environment for a diverse patient population. The position offers an opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art facility committed to excellence in trauma and emergency medicine.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: RN license with ADN degree, Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred, ongoing certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) from the American Heart Association (AHA), with 2 years of ER experience preferred, applicable to the position.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and sepsis cases.
- Additional Information: Team nursing with a pod system, social worker assigned to the department, and unit educator. The unit is equipped with Zoll defibrillators, blood warmers, hospital blood transfusers, ultrasound-guided IVs, and electronic health record system Cerner.
