Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Lewiston, ME. This role involves providing high-quality adult and geriatric patient care within a 24/7 emergency care setting, with a focus on telemetry and dysrhythmia management. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of clinical cases, including orthopedic, trauma, and post-surgical patients.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend required.
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS certification, 2 years of experience, experience with telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation, and management.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with common diagnoses such as total joint replacements, spine surgery, trauma, and general medical/surgical overflow.
- Additional Information: The unit manages high volumes of discharges and admissions daily, utilizing Baxter IV pumps, SIGMA Spectrum Infusion Systems, and EMR systems including Omnicell and EPIC. The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients requiring complex medical and surgical care.
