Description
Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) profession at the unspecified location involves supporting complex surgical procedures in a large hospital setting. The role requires the ability to independently manage a wide range of services, with particular expertise in transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases. The position includes a day shift with call responsibilities during evenings, nights, and weekends. Candidates must meet all specified requirements to be considered.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift with hours from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Call expectations are 3 times a month, including 11:00 PM 7:00 AM, 7:00 PM 11:00 PM, and 6:00 AM 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM 6:30 AM on weekends, totaling 12 hours of call on either a Saturday or Sunday.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in trauma level 1, extensive experience in large hospital environments, minimum of 5+ years of clinical experience, proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems, and experience working across most surgical services with a focus on transplant, cardiac, and vascular cases.
- Additional Information: Candidates must possess Level 1 trauma experience, Epic system expertise, and be separated from the organization for at least 6 months to be eligible. No local candidates within 50 miles will be accepted.
