Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, located at the organizations healthcare facility, provides high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health conditions. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with hospital standards and unit policies to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Location: Emergency Room, Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Certifications & Qualifications: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS & PALS, NIHSS certifications; Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing; 06 months of related experience; Epic experience
• Responsibilities: Utilize the nursing process to care for patients; complete assessments and individualize care plans; consider cultural and psychosocial factors; organize, prioritize, and perform nursing skills; anticipate patient and unit needs; demonstrate sound knowledge of bio-psychosocial health; delegate and communicate effectively; exercise professional judgment; document care accurately; address problems and improve patient outcomes; facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning; collaborate with multidisciplinary team; and support unit goals through quality improvement and educational activities
• Additional Information: Effectively works directly with patients, internal/external customers, and other healthcare professionals; demonstrates professional judgment and effective communication; adheres to mandatory in-service training and unit education standards; completes variance reports accurately
