Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in a healthcare setting located across various departments. This role involves providing specialized support during surgical procedures, operating room assistance, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The position requires the ability to precept new staff and work collaboratively within a surgical team.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (NBSTSA required; NCCT not accepted); 5 years current surgical technologist experience; experience in general, gynecological, vascular, thoracic, orthopedic (including total joints), neuro/head/spine, and trauma surgeries; ability to precept.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-sections, ENT, plastics, and DaVinci Robot assistance.
• Additional Information:
  • Must include current work history and skills checklist pertinent to the position in the profile.
  • Two recent supervisory signed references from within the past two years are required.
  • Licenses and certifications must be uploaded with the profile.
  • Candidate must have their own vehicle; this is a firm requirement.
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may be rescinded.
  • No block scheduling is available. Candidates should be prepared to work call and holiday shifts if needed, including major holidays.
  • The candidate must be able to work during the scheduled start date and end date, with no accommodation requests considered for this need.
