Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse in Michigan. This role involves providing specialized rehabilitation nursing care within an inpatient setting to patients who are acutely ill across multiple body systems. The Nurse will utilize clinical judgment to evaluate patients, coordinate care, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours

- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, 2 years of acute rehabilitation experience, residence within the state of Michigan
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of clinical practice models such as the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) and caring-quality principles; strong communication skills using SBAR and interdisciplinary collaboration; ability to demonstrate leadership and time management skills
- Additional Information: The role emphasizes adherence to a strict 3 strike attendance policy effective from 6/1/2024, which considers absences and lateness. The position requires the ability to assess, monitor, and respond to patients responses to health conditions, employing evidence-based practices to prevent physiological complications and promote recovery.
