Job Summary
Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) Specialist in California this position involves providing specialized support in a preoperative and phase II Post-Anesthesia Care Unit setting. The role requires float capabilities to sister facilities and adherence to specific licensing and certification requirements.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS; must have California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license at the time of application; at least 3 years of experience required
• Location Requirements: California license in hand; local radius of 50 miles preferred
• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the specialty, including experience with charting system Epic
• Additional Responsibilities: Administering conscious sedation, airway management, and operating endoscopic and surgical equipment; proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing sedation
• Floating: Float rotation may be required to sister facilities Santa Rosa or Healdsburg with advance notice at least 24 hours
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to inquiries regarding prior experience at Providence facilities with specific locations and dates; two references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years are required
