Job Summary:
A Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a step-down unit environment, with a focus on adult patients requiring close monitoring and specialized nursing attention. The facility seeks experienced RNs to join their team for night shifts starting mid-November 2026.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of experience in a PCU or similar setting, certifications including BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and optional PALS
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience reading multiple patient strips and managing pediatric beds is advantageous
• Note: Must read strips a few pediatric beds, so some candidates will need PALS certification. Suitable candidates may be available for 36 or 48-hour contracts.

• Additional Information: The role requires reading patient strips; candidates must be prepared for night shifts. The manager will not approve additional time off around Christmas, though requests for holiday time off for New Years or Thanksgiving are permitted.
