Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in an acute care facility. The role involves providing high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. This assignment requires working night shifts with a schedule of 3 shifts per week, ranging from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with the potential for varied weekend coverage based on departmental needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights; 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California nursing license, at least 3 years of ER experience, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications, experience managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, blood product administration, CVA care, gunshot wounds, head injuries, interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, procedural sedation, STEMI and stroke certification, ability to handle trauma cases, and documentation system experience with EPIC
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers, and float experience within the hospital
• Additional Information: The facility supports a patient population across all age groups and handles a high volume of diverse acute cases. Candidates must have a California license in hand, attach Nursys verification within two weeks of submission, and be able to float within the hospital based on census. RTO requests must be pre-approved and included at submission. Orientation includes approximately 8 hours of EPIC training and 4 hours of module completion, recorded via certificates or transcripts.
