Description
Job Summary:
Licensed Practical Nurse (L&D) - for a facility in a healthcare environment. This role involves providing patient care within the labor and delivery department, supporting women through the childbirth process, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of relevant nursing education, clinical experience in labor and delivery, and at least 0 years of experience. Must meet state licensing requirements.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working specifically in the labor and delivery department; knowledge of obstetric protocols and patient care standards.
- Float: This position may require float rotation to other departments as needed.
- Additional Information: The role requires adherence to hospital policies, clinical standards, and safety protocols. Candidates must demonstrate strong patient care skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
