Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nursing in southeastern Washington. This position involves providing patient care in a diverse adult and geriatric patient population within a 16-bed unit. The shift is scheduled for nights, with a focus on cardiac monitoring, respiratory assessments, medication titration, and managing common diagnoses such as post PCI, DKA/HHS, and alcohol detox. This contract role begins on 10/12/2026 and extends through 01/11/2027.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications (must have ACLS training or rhythm interpretation course), 2+ years of experience, associates or bachelor's degree in nursing, valid licensure in the state, must be greater than 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EKG/Cardiac Monitoring, respiratory assessment and support, medication titration; familiarity with conditions such as ETOH detox, post PCI, DKA/HHS, cardiac, and GI diagnoses; adapt well to a geriatric and adult patient population
• Additional Information: 1 open position on a contract basis replacing a contractor, unit staffed with 16 private rooms, patient ratios of 1:4 with 1:3 accommodations for acuity, equipment includes electronic health record system (Paragon by McKesson), unit is staffed with a supervisor, and the role involves opportunities for clinical development and operational excellence.
