Description
Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor nursing professionals are needed at a healthcare facility located in Wichita. This position involves floating across multiple medical surgical units within the market, providing flexible staffing coverage on a night shift basis. The assignment is scheduled to begin on October 12, 2026, and continues through January 10, 2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license from the Nursys Nursing License verification, current professional licensure and certification documentation, and ability to pass the Ascension Skills Checklist, with no minimum years of experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The role involves calling in for each scheduled shift and floating to the highest need unit and campus across Wichita. Candidates must be able to work every other weekend. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, and prospective candidates must verify professional licensure and submit recent references.
