Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves managing and supporting perioperative patient care during surgical procedures. The OR Nurse is responsible for ensuring patient safety, preparing the surgical environment, assisting the surgical team, and maintaining a sterile field throughout perioperative activities. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour days with shifts starting at 0700, 0900, or 1100, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN license required; BSN preferred; 2 years of operating room experience required; PA unrestricted license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Circulating nurse experience in the OR, assisting with surgical procedures, managing documentation, and coordinating with surgical team members.
• Additional Information: Experience in circulating and scrubbing procedures is a plus. The role involves preparing the surgical suite, ensuring all equipment is ready, verifying patient information, assisting with sterile procedures, and monitoring patient safety during surgery. Fluid management in vascular, general, gynecology, orthopedic, podiatry, robotics, ENT, urology, and plastics surgeries is required.
