Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) professional in a healthcare facility is sought for a position with a focus on supporting a variety of surgical procedures. The role involves on-call responsibilities with varied shifts, primarily during daytime hours, and requires the ability to operate independently after orientation. Candidates will perform tasks related to general surgery, neuro, spine and orthopedic, urology, eyes, and dental procedures, with necessary training provided on-site for eye and dental specialties. Proficiency in electronic documentation and reliable transportation are essential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certification required; completed ARN 101 training; ability to lift 25 lbs; standing long periods; proficient in English, both spoken and written; reliable transportation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified OR technician (CAORN preferred).
• Additional Information: This position involves on-call duties typically lasting 16 hours on weekdays, with 24-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays. Post-orientation, the candidate must work independently, supporting various surgical procedures including general, neuro, spine, orthopedic, urology, eye, and dental surgeries. On-site training will be provided for eye and dental procedures, and knowledge of Meditech electronic health record system will be taught during onboarding.
