Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) Nights in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing patient care in a 32-bed unit with a focus on recent Med/Surg experience, assessment skills, and critical thinking. The role requires flexibility to float within skillset and support a team-oriented environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current active compact license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); two years of strong Med/Surg experience, at least one travel assignment, trauma level II experience, recent Electronic Prescribing of Intravenous (EPIC) charting experience, associate degree or certificate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to float to other campuses with proper notice; experience in trauma and critical care settings; capable of performing PIV insertion and managing stable drips such as heparin, Lasix, Protonix; strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Schedule details are based on a 12-hour night shift, with potential for float within two campuses. The assignment starts on 10/19/2026 and ends on 01/17/2027, with onboarding and bi-weekly orientation.
• Additional Information: The position involves working in a teaching hospital environment, possibly precepting students and new hires. No Covid-19 vaccine requirement is currently in place. Candidates must meet all attachment and qualifications requirements upon submittal.
