Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for an assignment in the operating room environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting surgical teams with instrumentation and assisting with operative procedures. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of managing multiple specialties including orthopedics, neuro, and vascular surgeries. The position offers flexible start and end times, with shift scheduling determined during the interview process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Information: Candidate must have extensive experience within current operative environments, with proficiency in handling instruments and maintaining sterile fields. The assignment involves approximately every fifth weekend as a call weekend, with 1-2 calls per week. Call response time is 30 minutes from call receipt to on-site arrival. Holiday call rotation may be required based on staffing needs and patient census. The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours within a 13-week contract. All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at submission and included in the confirmation documentation.
