Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurses are responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. Located in the region, this role involves working under the supervision of the Unit Director and providing direct patient support on night shifts. The position includes responsibilities for telemetry monitoring, patient assessment, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required within 30 days of hire, and a minimum of 0 years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; MOAB (Medical Office Administrative Billing) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications are preferred but not required. Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility will receive a $10/hr lower local rate.
  • Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid.
  • The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to three shifts within a 13-week contract.
