Job Summary:
The Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) position is located in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care duties and supporting unit activities within the operating room environment. The position requires ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate documentation to facilitate smooth surgical operations.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift from 06:30 AM to 10:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of a high school education, three years of experience as a scrub person in a hospital setting, certification as a Scrub Technician, and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Candidates should demonstrate strong ortho, neuro, and robotics skills, and experience with surgeon preference cards, tray counts, and count policies.
• Preferred Qualifications: Approved program for Operating Room Technicians or demonstrated technical skills through on-the-job training.
• Additional Information: The role includes participating in schedules that involve weekend on-call rotations, with specific response times and the potential for shift cancellations. Responsibilities extend beyond routine duties to include problem-solving, process suggestions, and teaching.
