Description

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry Nursing in Glendale This position involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients within the medical-surgical and telemetry units. The role includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of patient care according to established protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Education and Work Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; licensed registered nurse (RN) in the state of practice required; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required; must have Epic experience; and must be able to float to Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Essential Functions: Collects relevant data pertinent to the patients health or situation, analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops and implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide a safe, healing environment, and participates in discharge planning. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other related activities.
Organizational Requirements: All associates are required to receive all mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, unless a medical or religious exemption applies. Participates in E-Verify for employment eligibility verification.
