Job Summary
Telemetry (TELE) Nurse in a hospital setting located in the area between Burbank and Pasadena. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to promote patient safety and healing. The position requires critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment to ensure high-quality patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
- Additional Requirements: Must have Epic experience, be able to float between Medical Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units.
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment data, develops and implements care plans, evaluates progress, and collaborates with care team to ensure safe, quality patient care. Participates in discharge planning and delegates duties appropriately.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute care facility.
