Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Sioux City, IA
This position involves providing high-quality patient care within a progressive care setting, supporting patients with various medical conditions such as stroke, sepsis, and cardiac issues. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a Level 3 Trauma Center environment.

Job Details

Position Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of care to patients.
Required Qualifications: Active Iowa (IA) or compact nursing license, BLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), ACLS (American Heart Association preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), NIHSS Certification, Drivers License, at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting.
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/26/2026.
Additional Information: The role requires float to all inpatient and emergency department areas. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license. Experience working in a similar progressive care environment is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have a skills checklist specific to the PCU discipline, a supervisory reference form completed within the last two years, and active licensure and certifications as specified.
