Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Locally Based. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in a specialized unit focused on observation and recovery. The RN will supervise care staff, perform assessments, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by ensuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The RN embraces the organizations core values, prioritizes patient safety, and promotes a safe work environment.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, medical-surgical nursing certification or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred or applicable education, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ability to work days with a 12-hour shift schedule, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a progressive care setting, familiarity with patient safety protocols.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The RN performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, participates in patient education, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary communication. The role includes supervising ancillary staff, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to a positive team environment. The position offers opportunities for ongoing professional development and assumes charge responsibilities following orientation.
