Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician, ORT CERT, in a rural area This role involves assisting surgeons as a scrub nurse and supporting the surgical team as a second circulator under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse. The position requires providing clinical support for orthopedic and neuro cases, ensuring a clean and safe patient environment, and working within a dynamic surgical team.

Job Details

Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification, and NH Med Tech license.
Education Requirements: Current Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) credential, with at least 2 years of current experience.
Location Requirements: Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility and have their own vehicle.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years current clinical experience as a surgical technician, with high proficiency in orthopedic and neuro surgeries.
Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Requirements: Must include all scheduled time off (RTO) requests at submission; NO requests after offer. Must work specific holidays unless scheduled otherwise with prior approval.
Responsibilities include assisting in orthopedic/neurologic surgeries, utilizing EPIC electronic medical records, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
