Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located in a coastal region characterized by natural beauty and outdoor recreation, is responsible for delivering coordinated nursing care for patients on a 25-bed critical access hospital unit. The role involves supervising nursing staff, collaborating with healthcare teams, and providing patient education within a safe and healing environment.

Job Details

Position Description: Provides nursing care according to established standards for a group of patients, supervising and directing nursing staff and coordinating care with other disciplines.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification, and experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Assumes responsibilities such as data collection, care planning, implementation, evaluation, discharge planning, and delegation. Maintains compliance with organizational vaccination policies and participates in E-Verify.
