Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse, located in Los Alamos, NM - will provide specialized perioperative nursing care in a 3-bed surgical unit serving all ages. The role involves supporting surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care during surgeries.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and healthcare-specific licensure required to work as an RN in New Mexico.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must be 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered.
• Experience Requirement: 2+ years of nursing experience in an OR setting preferred.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include pre-operative preparation, intraoperative care, and post-operative recovery support for patients of all ages.
• Additional Information: Willingness to work every other weekend or as needed, with approximately 10-11 days of call per month if only two staff members are scheduled, potentially increasing to 15-16 days if staffing is limited.
• Submission Requirements: All candidates must have current required certifications at the time of submission.
