Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Farmington, New Mexico. This position involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within a 24-bed unit at a level III trauma center. The RN will deliver cardiac and intermediate care, working night shifts to support the organizations commitment to high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: The role involves caring for adult to geriatric patients with focus on cardiology and intermediate care. The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center offering comprehensive services including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Associate Degree in Nursing or higher, BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association, 1 year of experience (preferably 2 years in IMC or Cardiology).
• Shift: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Floating to other units such as PCU, Medical, Surgical, and Nephrology is required, accommodating staffing needs across various specialties. Standard cardiology monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and crash carts are used routinely. The RN will care for adult and geriatric patients, managing conditions such as STEMI, Non-STEMI, Stroke, Post Cath, and Alcohol withdrawal.
