Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing critical care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the Nursing Process to ensure safe and effective patient care. The role requires a dedicated healthcare professional capable of critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Shift Time: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts), with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); 1-2 years recent Emergency Department experience; licensure to practice in Alabama (no hits; ensure licensure is current); must include the home address and SSN on the submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic health record system; previous ER experience highly desirable.
• Position Duration: 13 weeks, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027.
• Additional Information: Must be more than 50 miles from the facility; travel submission must include necessary documentation; the RN will provide shift accountability for delivering patient care, demonstrating leadership and clinical competence, and supervising assigned personnel.
• Submission Requirements: Travel candidates must include home address and SSN with their submission to be considered.
