Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Alabama. This travel position provides emergency care using the nursing process and applicable state Nurse Practice Act requirements. The role requires critical thinking, clinical judgment, leadership, and safe delegation of patient care in an Emergency Department setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • 12 years of recent Emergency Department experience
  • Active license to practice in Alabama
• Additional Information:
  • Provides care to Emergency Room patients in accordance with applicable nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care.
  • Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegates patient care priorities according to the education and experience of available staff.
  • Provides direction and supervision to personnel delivering patient care.
  • The anticipated assignment period begins 11/30/2026 and is scheduled for approximately 13 weeks.
